On Tuesday night, the glittering Hollywood Hills played backdrop to the hottest ticket in Los Angeles: Jellysmack’s International Creators Day event. Over 120 creators, media execs, and Jellysmackers alike gathered at our west coast headquarters in the iconic Pacific Design Center for an evening full of mixing, mingling, and nonstop fun.

While we honor creators every day of the year, April 23 is the chance to celebrate their work, talent, and achievements in the world of social media and beyond. This International Creators Day marked the 19th anniversary of the first video ever uploaded to YouTube—a moment that changed the course of history forever, and paved the way for the thousands of creators that followed.

The vibe was electrifying as soon as you walked in the door, with Jellysmack branding everywhere you looked and lively beats dropped by the one and only DJ Mia. First stop? The bar of course, which served signature cocktails like JellyJuice and Creatorade, courtesy of Red Bull. Attendees also indulged in Shake Shack burgers and fries—but don’t worry, we didn’t forget the vegans. Mr. Charlie’s plant-based McFrowny meals were also a hit.

Among the guests were some standout stars from Jellysmack’s Creator Program. Reaction queen Charlotte Dobre worked the room, along with food creator Josh Elkin. Newlywed LaurDIY and her husband Jeremy also joined in the fun with more creators from Jellysmack-owned company Network Media, including Chris of Chris and Jasmin. Podcasters Amanda and David from Couple of Immigrants stopped by. We also caught up with Abbi, the host of new Jellysmack Originals channel Scandy, who breaks down the latest pop culture news and conspiracies.

Jellysmack also played host to some of our favorite platform partners, including Pluto TV, which is home to our newest OTT channel, StarTalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson. We then caught up with our friends from Meta, Spotify, Fourthwall, and Local Now, celebrating the amazing work that creators do on their platforms. Talent agents and managers from UTA, WME, Night Media, and Select also came to represent their esteemed rosters. And of course, guests from Law&Crime, who recently joined the Jellysmack family along with Network Media, showed up and showed out.

The night was packed with unique activations that captured everyone’s attention. Attendees had fun customizing their own Jellysmack sweatshirts at the Large Lemonade embroidery station. While they waited, creators satisfied their sweet tooth with Craig’s Vegan ice cream.

The MirMir photo booth was also a hit, with guests lining up ready to strike a pose for their new headshot.

Another highlight of the evening was mentalist and magician Riccardo Berdini, whose mind-bending tricks left the crowd both baffled and beyond amused. The whole room was entranced by his unique ability to guess names, letters, numbers—literally anything he put his mind to.

Of course, everyone also went home with a branded tote bag full of Jellysmack merch. From tees and water bottles to backpacks, speakers, and more, each piece served as keepsake to remember the unforgettable night.

Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate International Creators Day with us. We had so much fun, we’re already counting down the days ‘til next year. To go further behind the scenes of our LA event, head over to Instagram @jellysmack.
