Though Jellysmack has certainly been busy signing heavy-hitter creators and developing new program offerings, it is just as focused on tapping top industry talent to lead a variety of 2022 roadmap initiatives. Part of that means having the right people supporting relationships not only with creators, but with social platforms.

Jellysmack is delighted to add ViacomCBS seasoned media executive Stefanie Schwartz to the team as Global Head of Platform Partnerships.

Schwartz joins a roster of industry trailblazers who are tasked with establishing and building key relationships between various players in a data and tech-driven video content distribution pipeline.

Within her role, Schwartz will steward the global creator company’s partnerships with all leading social networks including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitch, and more, as well as lead Jellysmack in exploring new platform partners and collaborative opportunities.

The role has been a high priority for the global creator company and is a pivotal component of the 2022 roadmap and strategy.

“I’m thrilled to be joining at such an exciting time for the company. I look forward to deepening our relationships with our platform partners to develop new solutions for Jellysmack and our creators around the world,” said Schwartz.

“Stefanie’s going to be instrumental for the company. She joins just as we expand our creator offerings to new platforms at a record pace,” said Sean Atkins, President of Jellysmack.

“Stefanie is a visionary leader with decades of proven experience in the digital and tech space. Her expertise will help us further develop our premier partnerships and expand our footprint and revenue globally.”

Schwartz has been ushering legacy media outlets into the digital age for more than two decades. While scaling digital businesses at ViacomCBS, she worked with some of the most iconic media brands in North America including MTV, Comedy Central, BET, and Nickelodeon.

Prior to joining Jellysmack, Schwartz served as EVP & General Manager of Viacom Digital Studios in charge of creating original, must-see content for social platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok. She oversaw all aspects of the content development and distribution pipeline, including production, monetization, optimization, and audience acquisition.

She brings an impressive record of successes with her. Under her leadership, Viacom saw remarkable growth. The company created thousands of hours of content and became a dominant media property across major social media platforms.

Through her experience at ViacomCBS, Stefanie Schwartz is deeply versed in scaling global media businesses and brands in the digital arena and on social platforms. She’s well poised to facilitate high growth for creators on social media.

Moreover, she believes in the impressive tech tools that set Jellysmack apart from the competition.

“Jellysmack is a pioneer in the creator economy, and its powerful AI technology and large-scale data are unrivaled in the industry,” said Schwartz.

Her onboarding cements a remarkable year for Jellysmack’s leadership team, including several key strategic hires. Schwartz will be joining former YouTube executive Youri Hazanov, who joined Jellysmack as Head of International, and media veteran Sean Atkins, who came on as President.

Schwartz joins right as the company started to generate some real buzz in the industry in part due to the phenomenal success of the Creator Program which makes use of the company’s proprietary AI technology and first-party data to help video creators grow their audiences across multiple social platforms.

Jellysmack uses its suite of tech tools and team of experts to edit, optimize, and distribute videos onto Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube on behalf of the creator, thereby establishing new revenue streams and expanding into new engaged audiences. The company’s robust tech stack landed the company the number one position on Fast Company’s prestigious Most Innovative Company list in the video category.

The Creator Program currently boasts over 500 of the world’s most talented creators as partners, including megastars PewDiePie, MrBeast, and Like Nastya, plus fan favorites like Patrick Starrr, Bailey Sarian, Nas Daily, Rezendeevil, and Karina Garcia. It has helped these megastars and emerging creators grow and amplify their audiences at record speed.

In total, Jellysmack-managed content boasts a cross-platform reach of 125 million unique U.S. users every month, making it the largest digital-first company in monthly social media viewers in the United States.

Key additions like Schwartz empower Jellysmack to do what it does best.

Stefanie Schwartz is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and earned her MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two daughters, and their dog. When she’s not busy developing strategic partnerships and helping expand creator offerings at Jellysmack, you can find her on the soccer field cheering for her daughters.
