When French Twitch streamer Amine m’a tué tweeted Spanish YouTuber DjMaRiiO, challenging him to come to France for an international soccer match for creators, the idea for the Eleven All Stars event was born. Just six months later, the teams at ACE Productions and Smash brought the vision to life. The friendly match went down in Paris on November 19, where 21 French players and 20 Spanish players took to the Stade Jean-Bouin pitch in front of a sold-out crowd of more than 20,000.
The friendly tweet was in response to DjMaRiiO’s smaller creator soccer matches in Spain, and played on the sports rivalry between the two countries as a way to unite the European creator community.
As both creator and soccer enthusiasts ourselves, we knew we had to be there. Jellysmack hosted a private box for industry guests to enjoy the match while the colorful Jellysmack logo banner could be seen along the pitch behind the most memorable plays.

In addition to the live crowd, the match drew in 1.16M viewers on Twitch—a record in France and the fourth biggest live Twitch audience worldwide—and another 1.8M visits to DjMaRiiO’s YouTube live stream. After the event, the match and event recaps continue to rake in upwards of 7M views altogether.
The energetic match ended in a 2-0 victory for France, with goals being scored by TikToker Sacha Borg and soccer creator Bruce Grannec.
Other notable players for the French team include YouTuber DjIlsi and Twitch streamer TonTon.
Despite the loss in the end, the Spanish team also had a strong showing of creator talent who together command millions of followers across social platforms. Ibai, the Twitch record-holder for concurrent views on a single stream, coached a roster of mega stars like El Rubius and Willyrex.
After the match, guests brought the electric enthusiasm from the match to the after party. At the stadium venue overlooking the pitch, drinks, treats, and our signature 360 degree photo booth made for a memorable evening. Creators McFly and Squeezie stopped by for a post-game celebration with some of the players from Team France and Team Spain: Carlito, Inox, Michou, Domingo, Papi Gavi, El Rubius, and Ibai.
With the success of the first Eleven All Stars match and several other creator events this year, we can’t wait to see what 2023 brings.
